Thank you to all Rotarians who helped with the Nutley Family Service Bureau food drive. I understand that the Elks NJ chapter, initiated by Nutley, will donate $3500 to purchase meat.
You may have noticed that we are calling the Beefsteak the Spring Fundraiser, just to leave our options open and think outside the box. Of course, if COVID allows, we will have the Beefsteak in April as usual.
Looking forward to our meeting on September 3, which will be on ZOOM only. We need a GOOD TURNOUT for Commissioner Petracco!

Mark your calendars now for the Rotary District 7475 Conference taking place on May 14-16, 2021
Nutley Rotary Food Drive for Nutley Family Service Bureau
August 2020 was a success!
This event was a true community effort, and we thank Coaches DeGregorio and J Vick (middle pic) as well as Coach DiPiano who secured the Elks donation.
Top pic is of NHS football superheroes who put in many hours at Shoprite as well as NFSB. Bottom pic is Tommy who chauffered the food over to NFSB!
Our Polio Chair for the zone John Kranb is going on a very long Motorcycle Ride for Polio. He is a Polio Survivor - which makes this so much more admirable. He has a goal of $10,000 to be riased for Polio Plus.
Every donation that a Rotarian makes will be given to their Foundation Account - so money spent here - helps him acheive his goal and helps him you to increase your PHF status. Click on the link to see his story and his fundraising goal - see if you can help in any way.
Statement from Rotary International
At Rotary, we have no tolerance for racism. Promoting respect, celebrating diversity, demanding ethical leadership, and working tirelessly to advance peace are central tenets of our work.
We have more work to do to create more just, open and welcoming communities for all people.
We know there are no easy fixes and that challenging conversations and work lie before all of us. Rotary’s strength has long been our ability and commitment to bringing people together. We will tap into that strength now as we stand with those who are working for peace and justice.
Rotary will do our part to listen, learn and take action to ensure that we continue to contribute to making positive change.
