Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun and making connections. FUN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES in AUGUST!
In August we have two very easy and fun opportunities for you! As you may know, our District 7475 sends students to Japan and also hosts students from Japan in the summer, and we have the opportunity to join our Japanese visitors for a trip to Point Pleasant. It's pretty easy, the bus takes us and brings us home and our club pays for beach chairs, umbrellas and food. Mark your calendar for August 8th and reply to this email if you are interested!
The other opportunity is to visit Camp Merry Heart, also in August, and enjoy the day with the campers and counselors, other Rotarians and a nice barbecued dinner.
Our Club donates carnival prizes and a DJ to the event - and every summer we offer a campership to a Nutley youth. It's always a fun time (Date: TBD)
