Our meeting tomorrow will be a discussion of ourStrategic Plan and goals, <= which you can download here.
Your input is important to fine-tune our plan, which we will present to Governor Ann when she visits at 12:15PM on Thursday, August 6.
After our meeting tomorrow, you are invited to stay on the call to discuss our District Grant, which must be submitted by August 5. Our Nutley Rotary Board will vote on the grant after this discussion so all input is welcome.
Looking ahead, our August service project will be a Nutley Rotary Food Drive for the Nutley Family Service Bureau. Watch for an event on Facebook and help spread the word!
Let's put that lunch money you are not spending to good use!
At Rotary, we have no tolerance for racism. Promoting respect, celebrating diversity, demanding ethical leadership, and working tirelessly to advance peace are central tenets of our work.
We have more work to do to create more just, open and welcoming communities for all people.
We know there are no easy fixes and that challenging conversations and work lie before all of us. Rotary’s strength has long been our ability and commitment to bringing people together. We will tap into that strength now as we stand with those who are working for peace and justice.
Rotary will do our part to listen, learn and take action to ensure that we continue to contribute to making positive change.
